About Us

I’m focused on feeling well and helping others do so too! Feeling healthy, energized and stress free is a goal, and a practice.

Understanding the source of pain and how the body works anatomically can be quite profound. Using mindfulness, I can help you be so much more aware of your specific muscles and how you use (or overuse) them. With my inquisitive approach and effective communication skills, I'll help you find your composure and feel more like you.

Activities I’ve dabbled in: long distance running, trail running, long distance hiking, softball, soccer, horseback riding, rock climbing, indoor and beach volleyball, broomball, snowboarding, cross country skiing, resistance training, Zumba, HIIT, barbell and weight lifting, yoga, qi gong, and swimming. I’ve suffered through and persevered with injuries such as an MCL tear, ankle sprains and strains, plantar fasciitis, shoulder impingement, shoulder labral tear, and chronic tension headaches from stress.

It’s safe to say I have experience with chronic and acute pain. I’ve used a variety of western and eastern medicine, and I value everything I’ve learned from both.

Michaela Parella, LMT

I have been practicing massage since graduating from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 2009. I have always been interested in how the body works and discovering natural ways to facilitate healing. I attribute my longevity in this field to having a great life/work balance and a great clientele. My clients are awesome people that I get to help, laugh and joke with. When I am not working I love spending time with my 8 year old rescue pup Daisy as well as friends and family.

Michaela is certified in prenatal massage. She is currently attending an Advanced Myofascial Techniques for the Shoulder course through Til Luchau. And she is registered to complete a clinical cupping course in March.

She sees clients Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays!

Erica Norberg, LMT

I graduated from CCRI’s associates massage therapy program in 2017. I like being able to contribute to the quiet part of someone’s day that they made just for themselves and to be able to hold that space for them. I love working slowly and intentionally to melt away muscle tightness and calm the nervous system. I enjoy having an opportunity to make a positive change on clients though decreased pain, increased range of motion, better quality sleep, stress reduction, and overall well being. Listening to clients goals for each massage session is very important to me so that we can work together to achieve those goals.

The massage therapy field is ever growing and I love advancing my skill set with continuing education, reading, and workshops!

Erica has recently completed her prenatal certification through Leslie Stager’s course, has attended a local myofascial release workshop through the American Massage Therapy Association, and is registered to complete a clinical cupping course in March.

Our Team is Passionate about Helping You Change Your Life

Our healthcare system is complicated and frustrating. It takes too much time and effort these days to feel like you are truly supported by your healthcare professionals. Our team of massage therapists and health coaches provide you with holistic resources that you can trust, and also advocate for your well being by having conversations about your health. We can fill the gap in between your doctor’s visits, where you can reflect on what has or has not worked so far, and therefore realize where improvements can occur, and then feel empowered and make a plan.

Our bodies are incredible, compensatory machines. By building awareness, we can facilitate any healing that’s already happening. We’re here to help you work with rather than against your body. We’re here to collaborate with modern and ancient medicine to find what works best for you.
